Teach You A Lesson Episode 6 Recap & Review: Ji-ung’s Crimes Catch Up to Him

Teach You A Lesson Episode 6 Recap

Teach You A Lesson Episode 6 opens with Hwa-jin revisiting the evidence connected to Ga-yun’s murder. The case is clearly still weighing on him, especially as he tries to understand what Gyu-cheol’s real intentions were. Gang-seok catches him looking through the material and immediately notices where his thoughts are headed. He warns Hwa-jin not to let personal feelings interfere with his judgment, a reminder that seems easier said than done.

Not long afterward, Hwa-jin takes Geun-de and Han-rim out for dinner. What should have been a simple outing quickly turns into another case when they come across a group of intoxicated teenage boys stealing a car. Things become even more alarming when one of the boys attempts to force a girl into the vehicle.

Hwa-jin moves to stop them while Han-rim steps in to protect the girl. The boys manage to drive away in the stolen car, triggering a chaotic pursuit through the streets. Hwa-jin follows them in a vehicle while Han-rim chases after them on foot. The reckless teenagers create havoc before Hwa-jin finally blocks their escape route. Han-rim then removes the keys, leaving them with nowhere to run.

Instead of showing any fear or regret, the boys immediately hide behind their status as minors. They claim they did nothing wrong and argue that they only entered the car because the owner left the keys inside. At the police station, they continue presenting the situation as an innocent misunderstanding and confidently expect to be released.

Han-rim attempts to speak privately with the girl involved, hoping she will tell the truth. Surprisingly, she defends the boys and refuses to cooperate.

At the station, the ERPB team meets the students’ teacher, Mr. Lee, who signs the paperwork required for their release. The situation becomes even more frustrating when the police reveal that the teenagers have filed a child abuse complaint against Hwa-jin, Han-rim, and Geun-de.

Mr. Lee apologizes for the students’ behavior and explains that they regularly take advantage of the legal protections designed for minors. Soon after, Gang-seok secures the team’s release and assigns them a new investigation involving four notorious delinquents from Hyeonjin Middle School.

The moment Hwa-jin arrives at the school, he can tell exactly what kind of students they are. Their arrogance is impossible to miss. Han-rim questions other students, but fear has silenced everyone. Nobody wants to talk.

Determined to find answers, Han-rim asks Geun-de to locate Yun-jin, the girl who was with the boys during the previous night’s incident.

The search leads to an important clue when Geun-de discovers a photograph on social media showing one of the boys standing near a locker. Following that lead, the team makes a disturbing discovery. Yun-jin is trapped inside a locker, covered in bruises.

The sight is heartbreaking.

When Han-rim questions her about the drugs found in her possession, Yun-jin finally breaks down. She explains that she once dreamed of becoming a K-pop idol. Struggling with concerns about her weight, she accepted pills from Ji-ung after he promised they would help her lose weight.

What started as a promise quickly became a nightmare.

Once Yun-jin became dependent on the pills, Ji-ung began demanding money. When she could no longer pay, he forced her to work for him. She reveals that the boys are using students to distribute drugs throughout the school while subjecting her to constant abuse and intimidation.

Yun-jin had already reported them once. Although the school temporarily punished the boys, they returned and made her life even worse than before.

Han-rim assures her that the ERPB will help and immediately shares everything with Hwa-jin.

When confronted, Ji-ung shows absolutely no remorse. Instead, he mocks the investigation and sarcastically invites the team to arrest him if they can. He is convinced that his age makes him untouchable.

That confidence doesn’t last long.

Following Gang-seok’s instructions, Hwa-jin, Han-rim, and Geun-de pursue the boys and eventually transport them to a juvenile detention center. Even the facility’s warden worries about the potential backlash, but Gang-seok believes stronger action is necessary.

The boys are officially admitted.

What they don’t know is that Hwa-jin, Han-rim, and Geun-de are entering the facility as guards.

Inside, Han-rim wastes no time establishing control. She openly challenges the boys, telling them to attack her if they want to leave. Geun-de worries she might be taking a risk, but Hwa-jin confidently points out that the boys are the ones who should be worried.

He turns out to be right.

Han-rim easily overwhelms them and dismisses their complaints by stating that she is simply defending herself.

While Han-rim keeps them under control, Geun-de focuses on their education and tutors them so they won’t fall behind academically. At the same time, Hwa-jin quietly makes sure they attract the attention of the detention center’s feared red-patch inmates.

That’s when the boys begin to panic.

Ji-ung learns that many of the red-patch prisoners are convicted murderers. Suddenly, the teenager who acted invincible at school looks terrified. Forced to wash dishes and follow strict rules, he struggles to adapt and desperately wonders how to contact his parents.

Eventually, his frustration explodes.

Ji-ung violently attacks another inmate. Rather than retaliating immediately, the victim calmly promises to repay the favor later.

The tension rises even further when Hwa-jin reveals the inmate’s identity. The prisoner is Kim Su-gyeom, a man who was imprisoned for killing the bullies who tormented him in high school.

That revelation completely changes the atmosphere.

Ji-ung tries to provoke Su-gyeom, but the inmate responds with a chilling promise to make life miserable for him inside the facility. It’s one of those moments where the fear on Ji-ung’s face says more than words ever could.

Outside the detention center, the boys’ parents begin their own campaign. They gather outside the Ministry of Education and accuse Gang-seok of child abuse. They even threaten to bring the media into the situation.

Gang-seok remains calm.

Instead of arguing, he invites them to meet their sons at the school the following day.

When the meeting takes place, the parents immediately challenge both Gang-seok and Hwa-jin over the punishment. The boys seize the opportunity and beg to be taken home.

Then the truth comes out.

Hwa-jin exposes their involvement in forcing students to consume and sell drugs. Ji-ung attempts to dismiss the pills as harmless weight-loss supplements, but Hwa-jin forces the issue by making him take the pills himself.

The reaction is instant.

Ji-ung panics and finally admits that the pills are drugs.

With the truth exposed, the parents switch tactics and attempt to resolve the matter with money. It’s an ugly moment that highlights just how little accountability anyone has shown up to this point.

Han-rim then brings Yun-jin into the room.

Gang-seok gives her the power to decide whether she wants to forgive the boys. Yun-jin refuses. She openly condemns them for turning her school life into a nightmare.

Watching her finally stand up for herself feels incredibly satisfying after everything she endured.

Ji-ung reacts exactly as expected. He tries to rush toward her in anger, but Han-rim immediately stops him.

Despite the parents’ objections, the boys are returned to juvenile detention.

Gang-seok later vows to push for stronger laws against repeat juvenile offenders who exploit legal protections. Hwa-jin warns the boys that they could remain in detention until adulthood, at which point they may face prosecution as adults.

Near the end of the episode, Hwa-jin thanks Su-gyeom and the other inmates for helping scare the boys into confronting reality.

Then comes the shocking final twist.

An inmate suddenly attacks Ji-ung with a knife. Just as the situation turns deadly, Gyu-cheol appears and blocks the attack. Hwa-jin watches in complete disbelief as he comes face-to-face with a figure connected to his painful past.

It’s a cliffhanger that completely changes the direction of the story moving forward.

Episode 6 Review

Teach You A Lesson Episode 6 one of the strongest episodes of the series so far. The case itself was frustrating to watch, but that frustration is exactly what made it effective. Ji-ung and his friends showed almost no remorse for their actions, constantly hiding behind the protections offered to minors while continuing to hurt other students.

What stood out most was Yun-jin’s story. Her dream of becoming an idol was twisted into an opportunity for exploitation, and the scenes involving her were easily the emotional core of the episode. Seeing her finally reject the boys’ apology and speak for herself was one of the most satisfying moments of the hour.

The detention center storyline was also surprisingly effective. Watching the boys slowly realize that they were no longer in control created some of the episode’s best tension. Their confidence disappeared the moment they understood the reality of their situation.

At the same time, the larger mystery surrounding Ga-yun’s murder continues to grow more interesting. Hwa-jin is clearly getting closer to answers, and the final scene involving Gyu-cheol raises a lot of questions about what comes next.

Episode 6 balanced social commentary, emotional moments, and suspense very well. The ending alone is enough to make viewers jump straight into the next episode.
